The proposal presents a beautifully sculpted coastal structure whose biomorphic form, inspired by the fluid motion of whales, creates a visually striking presence along the shoreline. The envelope demonstrates strong formal control and an elegant command of curvilinear geometry. As an architectural gesture, the building achieves an expressive identity and establishes a memorable relationship with the sea.
However, as an airport terminal, the project remains primarily an exterior form rather than a functioning piece of aviation architecture. Essential elements of airport planning—circulation hierarchy, passenger processing zones, airside operations, and the spatial logic of departures and arrivals—are not yet articulated. While the external shell is conceptually engaging, the absence of a functional framework makes it difficult to evaluate the proposal as a complete terminal.

My advice is to investigate how the expressive form can evolve into an operationally coherent terminal. Airports rely on the precise organisation of check-in halls, security screening, immigration, baggage reclaim, gate lounges, staff circulation, technical infrastructure, and airside geometry. Without these layers, even the most elegant form cannot perform as a functioning terminal.
I recommend developing clear plans, sectional hierarchies, and airside–landside relationships, and examining how the shell can structurally span airport-scale spaces. Establishing realistic apron layouts, taxiing zones and passenger movement sequences will allow the project to grow beyond its sculptural identity and take on the spatial discipline required for aviation architecture
